Tony Huser, CEO
Joe Brumback, Senior VP
Anthony "Tony" is the President and CEO of B.L. Spille Construction, Inc. and Building Systems Erectors, Inc., leading a comprehensive Turnkey Design-Build, Construction Management, and Project Management firm. With 30 years of industry experience, Anthony specializes in Construction Management, Design-Build, and Project Control Management. Since joining B.L. Spille in 1994 and taking full ownership in 2017, he has driven the company to excel in delivering complex projects across various sectors.
Under his leadership, B.L. Spille Construction has successfully managed over 20 million square feet of diverse facilities, including educational, industrial, and medical buildings. Anthony's dedication to total project management, from stakeholder engagement to risk analysis, has positioned the company as a leader in the construction industry. His work with distinguished clients like GE Healthcare, Siemens Medical, Proscan Imaging, Joint Implants of South Florida, Ohio Health, Cleveland Clinic, Bon Secours Mercy, Mubea, Silverlake Recreational Center, and several universities reflects his commitment to quality and innovation in every project.
He is known as a world traveler, but Tony calls Kentucky home where he is lucky enough to share space with his brilliant wife, Aymie. He also makes the best Chicken and Eggplant Parmesan and Homemade French Onion Soup you'll ever indulge in.
Joseph, a key member of B.L. Spille Construction since 2015, now serves as our Senior Vice President. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Joe brings extensive expertise to his role, overseeing a diverse range of projects including offices, medical facilities, retail centers, hotels, restaurants, residential developments, multi-family units, schools, and industrial complexes.
In addition to his role at B.L. Spille, Joe is a Registered Architect with national accreditation and multiple state licenses. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional specializing in Building Design and Construction and a licensed real estate sales agent in Ohio. Joe's unique skill set, cultivated through his experience as a partner at a successful design-build construction firm, continues to be a significant asset to our team.
Born and raised in Cincinnati, Joe holds both a bachelor’s and a Master of Architecture degree from Judson University. He is actively affiliated with NCARB, AIA, and USGBC. Joe lives in Anderson Township with his wife and sons, deeply rooted in the community he serves.
Kyle Skotnicki, CFO
Bret Thomas Wilcox, VP of Design, Architect, and Project Manager
Kyle serves as the Chief Financial Officer at B.L. Spille Construction, Inc., bringing a results-driven approach and deep expertise in financial management to the team. With intermediate knowledge of federal finance and a specialization in the balance sheet and income statement process, Kyle ensures that the company's financial operations are efficient and effective.
Known for his expert interpersonal communication skills, Kyle excels in building and maintaining business relationships, resolving conflicts, and managing records with precision. His ability to plan workflows and integrate social media strategies further enhances the company's operations.
Kyle is also highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access, enabling him to streamline processes and improve customer satisfaction. His comprehensive understanding of financial management and commitment to excellence make him an invaluable asset to B.L. Spille Construction, Inc.
Bret Thomas Wilcox has been a dedicated member of the B.L. Spille Construction team for over 11 years, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as VP of Design, Architect, and Project Manager. His passion for innovative design and his commitment to achieving client goals have made him a key contributor to the success of numerous projects.
Bret holds a B.A. in Fine Art from Georgetown College, an M.A. in Architecture from the University of Kentucky College of Design, and is a licensed architect with certifications in Ohio and Kentucky. His extensive background in architecture and design enables him to deliver creative and practical solutions, ensuring every project aligns with the client's vision and operational needs.
One of Bret’s standout achievements is his involvement in the Silverlake "The Family Place" project, where his leadership and design expertise played a critical role in bringing the project to life.
Outside of work, Brett cherishes time with his wife, Erin, and their four children, sharing his love for sports, the arts, and the outdoors. His dedication to family is mirrored in his professional work, where collaboration and strong relationships are key to his success.
Denise Rath, Accounting/Bookkeeper
Denise is the Accounting/Project Administrative Assistant at B.L. Spille Construction, Inc., where she has been a dedicated team member for 14 years. Denise enjoys the variety her role offers, allowing her to tackle different tasks each day and engage with both the field crew and subcontractors. Her experience and adaptability make her an integral part of the team.
Outside of work, Denise treasures the time she spends with her grandchildren, finding joy in their company and creating lasting memories.
